The United Nations

The United Nations Staff College was established in
January 1996 as a UN system-wide learning and training
project. In its initial "project" phase – which
runs to December 2000 – the Staff College’s
main objectives are to:
· Facilitate and support the process
of reform and change of the United Nations and its
system of organizations
· Develop innovative learning and training opportunities.
· Promote a common management culture
· Promote more effective collaboration and linkages across the
UN system in pursuit of peace and development
CDC works closely with
UNSSC
to provide experiential
problem based training in the field of communication
for senior UN officials as part of the reform process
of the United Nations System. UN Staff College Project
staff participated in the International Executive Media
and Television Workshop in Amman, Jordan in December
1999.

Intermedia Institute
InterMedia was founded as a 501C3 corporation in 1996, bringing together
staff with unmatched media and opinion research expertise who had formerly
worked for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Voice of America, and the
British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
Since our founding, we have built upon our specialized international
audience research skills, branching out into additional areas of media
and market research and consulting, and serving additional clients in
the international media and development communities.
InterMedia is now a leading provider of global research, evaluation
and consulting, creatively equipping international media, government
and non-governmental organizations to understand their audiences, gauge
their effectiveness and target their communications in transitional and
